• Dartmoor National Park Authority
• Exmoor

• Northumberland

• and the Broads which has equivalent status to a National Park.

• A National Park has been proposed for the South Downs, and an announcement is expected in Summer 2009.

Conservation Boards

• Conservation boards established under section 86 if the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 are included in Schedule 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
• There are currently only 2 Conservation Boards:

• Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Conservation Board
• Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Conservation Board
