The Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 provides in section 9 for the creation of integration joint boards.
SSI 2015/88 established:
- East Ayrshire Integration Joint Board
- North Ayrshire Integration Joint Board
- South Ayrshire Integration Joint Board
