The BBC refused to provide the information claiming that it was outside the scope of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the “Act”). The Commissioner is satisfied that the information in question is held for the purposes of journalism, art or literature. Therefore the BBC was not required to comply with Parts I to V of the Act in relation to this request.
