Certain public authorities are listed in FOIA Schedule 1 or FOISA Schedule 1 only in respect of certain information. This has several consequences:

• Exclusion from the Environmental Information Regulations 2004
• Wholly-owned subsidiaries of these authorities aren't public authorities themselves

Internal Reviews

The BBC does not carry out internal reviews where they consider the request to be for information outside of the coverage of the Act.
