- Summary: The complainant submitted a request to the public authority for information relating to an investigation undertaken in the early 1990s into allegations of corruption by employees of a local council. The public authority advised the complainant that although its records confirmed that a file relating to this investigation had once been held, due to the time that had elapsed since the investigation took place this file had since been weeded or destroyed. Having considered the information available the Commissioner is satisfied that the information requested by the complainant is no longer held by the public authority.
