The Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man) have largely separate laws from the United Kingdom, and aren't covered by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. There are moves afoot to bring in Freedom of Information laws in the Dependencies, generally along the lines of those in the UK.

In Jersey, the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 came into force on 1st January 2015.

In the Isle of Man, a Freedom of Information Bill was introduced in the House of Keys in 2011, in the last sitting before the general election. It will presumably be reintroduced in the new parliament.

In Guernsey, the Policy Council investigated Freedom of Information in June, and supported the concept of greater transparency.
