Schedule 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 refers to "A joint board the constituent members of which consist of any of the public authorities described in paragraphs 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 20 to 31, 57 and 58."

We are not totally sure what this means. The Act does not apply in Scotland where the term "joint board" is used frequently.
